For those seeking a touch of freshness, the Genwa Salad provides a crisp, vibrant contrast to the richly flavored meats. Meanwhile, the popular hot pot-style Dubu Dolsot-Bibimbap brings the iconic Korean comfort food to the table with an irresistible golden crust and harmonious blend of textures.
Seafood lovers will appreciate offerings such as Shrimp, Scallops & Lobster, each grilled to juicy perfection by the caring staff, impressing diners with tender yet smoky flavors. An enjoyable night. We called for a reservation, and as soon as we got there we were brought back very quickly. We got package E for 5 people, and it came with a nice assortment of food. The service was superb, and the staff was very kind and explained everything well. They cooked the food for us in the grills at our table, allowing us to converse without worrying. The food was cooked perfectly and was at a very nice quality. My only qualm was the price: around $500 for drinks and tip for 5 people. The menu prices were not posted online, red flag. Unlike many other Korean bbq restaurants we’ve visited, the food is unlimited. Here, not the case. If you want good quality food and are able to forgo the unlimited quantity (and have a deep as hell wallet), it’ll be a great night. If that bothers you, I suggest to look elsewhere.
first time at genwa’s beverly hills location and it did not disappoint! it was surprisingly empty when we came for dinner on a wednesday evening and were seated immediately. love the bigger space and that this location has long booths where only one side has the bbq grill so we could put the little ones safely on the side without. staff is super attentive, friendly and amazing with the children. at one point my 3yo started getting restless and a server showed up with a robot toy to entertain him with. they also have cute character paper plates for them to eat off of and lollipops on hand for dessert, though they make sure to have the parents’ approval before handing them out. best part is the food! their banchan is the best and we got several refills of our favorites. we went with C course for our party of 3 adults and 2 little ones and we were stuffed by the end. everything was amazing - meats were melt in your mouth, sauces flavorful and sundubu was perfectly spicy. prices are not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. we never visit LA without a stop at genwa!
This was an incredible experience. The food was perfection! Our server was fantastic. Everything about our experience was great! We highly recommend the A course for 2 people.
The place offers a great dining experience with high quality meats, flavorful banchan, and attentive service. Conveniently, they also have parking, making it easy to enjoy a delicious Korean BBQ feast hassle-free.
Food was really excellent and service was good. We ordered lobster, shrimp and scallops and they were all cooked by the waiter. Then we followed with an order of marinated beef and it was tasty and tender. I have no idea of what any of the side orders were, buy most of them tasted great. Service was very good but not great. Very pricey but worth the experience.
Nice open space. Excellent service- very attentive and knowledgeable. The food is mostly cooked on the little stoves on the tables, but the waiters take care of placing everything and really cooking it. Plenty of vegetarian options for me, with tons of meat for everyone else. Nice birthday sundae. A great family experience.
We had a great dinner at Genwa, the service was very attentive, the meat was top-quality, and the side dishes were delicious. The restaurant gets quite busy, make sure you make a reservation. They offer valet parking for convenience.
